Teeth play a vital role in a whole life. Therefore, it must be properly managed after milk tooth.

When should I start brushing my child’s teeth?

Most of the beginner parents don’t know when start to brush their baby’s teeth.

1. Before milk tooth

In generally, beginning parents think that they don’t need oral care. 

because they don’t have teeth yet. but it is not true.

Even though the parents can not see their first teeth, it is a essential thing to clean the remaining milk in the mouth due to the intake of milk.

It is recommended to use soft gauze with clean water and gently wipe baby’s tongue and gums.

2. After milk tooth

Around 5 months, teeth start to grow. (growing teeth is different for each baby)

Typically, they get a first teeth by the end of six to eight months. After that they are starting baby food.

From this point on, it’s time to start brushing baby’s teeth due to eating baby foods by using ‘Silicone finger toothbrush’ or ‘tooth brush for first tooth’.

Both are good for protecting their delicate gum.

If you feed at night for a long time, you’d better stop feeding after baby’s first teeth grows up.
